Daily sea-level readings from the Malé tide gauge in the University of Hawaii Sea Level Center's fast-delivery stream, as a CSV of one value per day. Station 108 is the Malé gauge; station 028, which is easily mistaken for it, is Saipan in the Northern Mariana Islands. Fast-delivery data is published with little delay and has not been through the centre's full quality control, so it is suitable for recent-period analysis rather than as a research-grade record.

GMM's analysis of 51 years of rain, the tide gauge and the drains finds an island that has lost the capacity to cope, and sets out how to rebuild it without stopping the city.
